What wil become of Roka Lounge in SA?
Crime is just blowing up in this country. Last weekend Roka Lounge on 44 Stanley Road where Party People is hosted monthly by South African DJ Kenzhero , was robbed around 9h30pm by 8 men who walked into a club and stole over R30 000 from the owner Shakir Jadoo . The robbery that lasted about 15minutes, clubbers and staff were forced to lie down while Jadoo was led to the safe at gunpoint. Apart from the cash, they gang left with a handbag, 4 cellphones and a wallet. Now it turns out that there was pop band KoldProduk at the venue. Last Saturday night 14 th March 2009 Pop group Koldproduk were entertaining a packed out audience at Roka in Millpark Johannesburg, when a group of armed men entered the venue and robbed the place.
