Soweto Gospel Choir does SA proud on the Oscar stage...
I must say despite the SA related film Slumdog Millionaire, it felt good knowing that SA's spirit was there in the form of Soweto Gospel Choir as they took to the stage with John Legend last night at the 81st Academy Awards in LA. They sang the song, "Down to Earth" from the animation film WallE, that won the best animated flick last night. The colourful garment were not the greatest looking ones ever but hey they resembled the "Rainbow Nation."
