Thembi takes a final bow from Idols...
A record vote this week delivered a shock result when the endearing Thembi Nkosi (19) from Johannesburg was the one to go home, despite predictions from the country’s top radio stations and the Idols judges that it would be Lendel. The Top 5 sang songs by their own Idols last night, and songs chosen for them by the country’s top radio stations. And tonight, those same radio stations weighed in with their listeners’ opinions on who would have to say goodbye tonight. Algoa FM listeners chose Sasha-Lee’s song last night, and tonight they predicted that Lendel would go. East Coast Radio selected Jason’s song, and they thought that Graeme wouldn’t survive tonight. Jacaranda 94.2 selected a song for Thembi, and they thought tonight would be Lendel’s turn to leave. 94.5 KFM supported Graeme Sunday night, and they, too, didn’t think Lendel would survive.
