Police did not know what prompted the chaos involving hundreds of people outside the Park Central New York hotel in Manhattan on Saturday afternoon, local time. After the panic, the street outside the hotel were left littered with shoes and clothing. "It was pretty scary," Jessica Paravati told WNYW-TV.
