Tyra Banks is coming to SA
MODELLING reality show America’s Next Top Model is coming to South Africa. Supermodel and owner of the hugely successful US show, Tyra Banks, and South African businessman Tom Kelly, will this month begin scouting the continent for contestants for a spin-off show — Africa’s Next Top Model — that will debut on e.tv in mid-April. Kelly, chief executive of BSB Entertainment , and Banks will scour South Africa as well as countries such as Nigeria, Mozambique, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Ivory Coast and the Cape Verde Islands in their talent search. “I am excited to be part of an event of this prestige — seeing the Next Top Model coming to South Africa and being part of it is a wonderful thing,” said Kelly.
