CASSPER NYOVEST TO PERFORM AT ISRAEL APARTHEID WEEK

Rapper Cassper Nyovest to perform at Israel Apartheid Week. PICTURE: E! AWARD-winning rapper Cassper Nyovest , is set to perform at an #IsraeliApartheidWeek  (IAW) concert on Friday 10 March at Wits University in Johannesburg . The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker real named Refiloe Maele Phoolo, will be joined by artists Nomsa Mazwai, Ginger Breadman, the Tshwane South College Choir and others in the event that is said to be a “Palestine solidarity concert” which has seen the likes of Simphiwe Dana, Stogie T (Tumi Molekane), Reason, JR, Lebo Mashile and HHP, performing in the past. Tickets for the March 10 concert which starts at 7pm are on sale for R20 at the BDS SA offices (5th Floor, Mishumo House, Braamfontein in Joburg. Click here for more info.  

AMANDA DU PONT JOINS BET A-LIST

Gorgeous actress, TV presenter, model and girl-about-town Amanda du-Pont has a stylish new gig as the co-presenter on BET A-List . Amanda will be co-hosting the weekly entertainment and lifestyle magazine show with Ayanda Thabethe for the next three months, shooting segments with A-listers and celebrities from across the continent.  She steps into the stilettos of pregnant Nandi Madida who taped her last episode last week before heading off on maternity leave.  Ayanda and Amanda will keep audiences captivated weekly with the latest trends from around the African continent and abroad, unpacking everything from fashion, to music, movies and more, covering the hottest red carpet events and interviewing A-Listers from home and abroad. BOITY THULO TO HOST #FillUpOrlandoStadium

Celebrated actress and TV star, Boity Thulo, is thrilled to announce that she will host, rap superstar Cassper Nyovest’s hugely anticipated #FillUpOrlandoStadium concert, set to take place this Saturday, 29 October, 2016. As one of four MCs, Boity will join forces with Idols judge Somizi Mhlongo and TV entertainers, Scoop Makhatini and Sizwe Dhlomo, when Nyovest takes to the stage to make history as the only artist to fill the 40 000 capacity venue. Locals AKA, Black Coffee and Cassper Nyovest vying for the a BET Award.  BET Africa , part of Viacom’s African multimedia entertainment portfolio, today announced the nominations for the 2016 "BET Awards" taking place at Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, California, on Sunday 26 June, and premiering across Africa on BET (DStv channel 129) on Tuesday 28 June at 19:00 CAT. Russian Bear is the official South Africa sponsor of the BET Awards 2016. Recognising the growing international appeal of African contemporary artists, eight African artists have been honoured in the BET Awards.
