Celebrated actress and TV star, Boity Thulo, is thrilled to announce that she will host, rap superstar Cassper Nyovest’s hugely anticipated #FillUpOrlandoStadium concert, set to take place this Saturday, 29 October, 2016. As one of four MCs, Boity will join forces with Idols judge Somizi Mhlongo and TV entertainers, Scoop Makhatini and Sizwe Dhlomo, when Nyovest takes to the stage to make history as the only artist to fill the 40 000 capacity venue. After filling the Coca Cola Dome in October 2015, Nyovest announced to fans that he hoped to double this feat at Orlando Stadium in the hope to bring together all races in of the rainbow nation. “I’m very excited to be a part of such an amazing project,” says Boity on her involvement, “Fill Up Orlando Stadium is all about promoting social unity and inspiring the youth of South Africa to make them realize that no dream is too big to achieve.” Sure to add their unique and exciting flair to the concert, ...

It’s that time of the year again at 5FM; April brings with it a few tweaks to the weekday line-up and bigger changes to the weekend. 5FM will be shaking things up just a little with regards to the presenters and producers. There are also some great new programming changes and innovative radio additions.   We’re most excited about our programming additions. Last year we set a trend by kicking off breakfast  at 5am  and this year we’re trying something new again.  We’re adding on a new talk element similar to the popular Ted Talks which morning presenter  Nick Hamman  will play host to.
