Have you heard the song “Dominoes” by Brian Temba? After first meeting him at the Sarita Ball that happened in Rosebank last month, yesterday BYT attended his ”Something Better” album launch at La Toscana in Montecasino, Fourways, where he invited some of his friends, family and press to come see him do his thing. And I must say, he is too dope for words. He has the voice of an angel, the looks to die for and the humble and friendly personality to make any woman melt, and there I was listening to him sing his songs “Something Better”, “Dominoes” and Maxwell’s “Woman’s Work”, and I thought, move over Maxwell Brian Temba is here to stay. The man who used to play “Simba” in the Disney musical Lion King in London, returned to South Africa recently, to release his own solo project is already making waves in the music industry as he has been nominated for two Channel O awards for Most Gifted RnB Artist and Most Gifted Newcomer.
