This
March, Comedy Central continues to make Mzansi
comedy fans fall head-over-heels in love with home-grown stand-up comedy by
adding thirteen of the country’s top comedians in their campaign to #MakeLifeFunnier.
Dedicated to supporting comedy and the comedic arts, and to encourage South Africans to appreciate and consume more local comedy both live and on television are: Kedibone Mulaudzi, Nqoba Ngcobo, Alfred Adriaan, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Gavin Kelly, Thabiso Mhlongo, Stuart Taylor, Jason Goliath, Nik Rabinowitz, Dave Levinsohn, Mark Banks, Eric Jansen and Loyiso Gola.
The comedians will feature in a series on on-air, online and social media content airing on Comedy Central and associated digital and social media platforms. During the campaign, each of the comedians explores the funny, crazy and comedic possibilities inherent in a bizarre range of props such as a fake hand, a step ladder, a pair of angel wings, and balloon art.
The homegrown talent will join the ranks of 21 comedy luminaries previously announced, which include: Celeste Ntuli, Ndumiso Lindi, Dillan Oliphant, Lihle Lindzy, Deep Fried Man, Conrad Koch, Chris Forrest, Barry Hilton, John Vlismas, Nina Hastie, Suzelle DIY, Donovan Goliath, Nicholas Goliath, Robby Collins, Richelieu Beaunoir, Simmi Areff, Mojak Lehoko, Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, David Kau, Yaaseen Barnes and Joey Rasdien.
