ANOTHER FERGUSON FILMS SUCCESS ON TELEVISION

THE
FERGUSONS – Connie and Shona Ferguson - have more to rave about this week as
their show The Queen sits comfortably
in Top 10 most viewed shows on DSTV on their launch month.
Last week
the pair were honoured for being game changers in the television and film
industry at the BET A List awards and now their month-old show's ratings have
hiked them to having two top most watched shows on DStv.
According
to the ratings released this week by the Broadcasting Research Council, The
Queen which started airing on August 1, has raked up to 597 127 viewers in
its first week on air while it’s repeats sat at over 200 000 viewers. This places the show on the six spot of the most watched shows on the private broadcasters platforms.
In The Queen, Connie Ferguson plays the lead role of a high-powered executive Harriet
Khoza while the show also features stars like Senzo Ngqobe, Loyiso McDonald, Mbali Nkosi, SK Khoza and Themba Ndaba.
In July, Ferguson Films
wrapped their thrilling drama Igazi boasting over 1,2million viewers,
that same month they launched the fourth season of their popular drama Rockville which sat at 929838
viewers in July research outcomes but by end of August have over a million viewers.
Rockville is the forth highest viewed show after Our
Perfect Wedding, Isibaya and Idols: South Africa respectively.
