Victoria Beckham replaces Paula Abdul

Thank God somebody let that American Idols judge Paula Abdul knowing that she is replaceable, after she demanded so much moola just to sit there and judge the talent of the US meanwhile she was not as great in music.

Rumours in the beginning had it that actress/singer Jennifer Lopez was gonna replace Abdul but nope that was not true cause Spice Girl come mogul wife of rich soccer player David Beckham, Victoria Beckham is filling in that spot.

Although I never believed she could even sing since I was a little girl when I was ranting about the girl band hit tune "Wanna Be", not that that has changed, but hey atleast we can watch a little fashion trends from Mrs Becks while we watch the singing talent show.

As the producers of American Idol look to replace Paula Abdul - who quit the show last week - they're getting various celebrities to replace her on individual shows.

One such fill-in is Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice.

Beckham taped her appearance 7 August 2009 at callback auditions in Denver. She said she was extremely excited to be there and is a big fan of American Idol.

She also joked that when she told her three sons she would be appearing on the show, they assumed she meant she was auditioning.

The mood at the auditions were sombre too as the show reacted to the loss of Paula Abdul.

Kara DioGuardi told Fox News she was wearing black as a symbol of mourning. And judge Simon Cowell showed a rare moment of emotion: "Everyone thought we had this kind of love-hate relationship which at times we did but it was more love than hate."

Both Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest also expressed their disappointment over Abdul's departure calling her a true, original member of the Idol family.- APN
