Singin Gospel dont make you no saint I guess


Sensational gospel muso Bebe Winans is one of those guys that could easily be compared to a saint anyday. Guess we ALL really have flaws, my what was I thinking when I thought gospel folks are all saints. hhmm

But I was so schocked when read this:

Gospel singer and judge on BET’s “Sunday Best” show, Bebe Winans, has responded to allegations that he assualted his ex-wife during an argument about their children. In a statement made  through his publicist, Bebe says the following:

“To be accused of these allegations, which arose out of a child custody right dispute and my desire to spend time with our children as court ordered, is nothing less than heart wrenching.”

He continues, “Since I choose to say nothing negative about my children’s mother, I will make no comment other than to say the allegations are inconsistent with my character and the foundation upon which I was raised and I am prayerful that the matter is straightened out very soon for the sake of our children.”

BeBe and Debra Winans have a 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son.

Khanyi Dhlomo to wed for the 2nd time...

The gorgeous magazine editor of Destiny, Khanyi Dhlomo who also happens to be the sister to Sizwe Dhlomo, is to wed her Nigerian-American beau in December. Knowing this for about a month know, I was quiet amazed when I saw it in the paper this weekend. THE NAKED BATTLE AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!

The NAKED ISSUE of Marie Claire always causes a stir in the country and this year's issue has proven no different. It has been criticised and bashed for being a bad thing, but I say they are doing the right thing. If it means that people have to take off their clothes to tell people to stop abuse so be it.  Besides its done rather tastefullly and classy, nothing raunchy and has Learnado Da Vinci potraitic presence in it. Last years issue saw Gina Athens on the cover, inside it featured the four voluptuos singing DIVAS, poet Ntsiki Mazwai and designer of Loxion Culture Sechaba, it was all there.
