Bob Mabena takes a bow from the public bradcaster!

I never thought I would be hearing this ever but Bob Mabena is leaving or has left the SABC.

Seeing the headline "Mabena's bitter divorce from the SABC" - left me gasping to read more of the Sunday World.

There I was reading about his brother's alleged trespassing at the SABC in Auckland park, causing him to get arrested. I just don't know if this was the real reason for him leaving but Gabiville will get right on this and get a final confirmation on what was really going down.

Whatever it is that is making him leave it must be really bad departure as SABC refuses to give more info on why Bra Bob is leaving. 

I also think its about time he ventured into other areas unlike sticking with the SABC for this long, he might as well be part of the furniture that broke down with Financial spokesman Nhlanhla Nene last year.

Whatever it is, we will have to see.

Another source says Mabena wanted to resign from the SABC in December and again in January but he was asked to stay. 
SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago says: “We aren’t going to reveal any information. The whole matter is between the SABC and Mabena – if he wants to talk about it, so be it. We are not.”
