And the Oscar goes to...


SA will only see the prestigious 81st Oscars tonight but of coarse Gabiville has the low on who won what and who was wearing what.
I have to give it to all the red carpet walkers as they were more gorgeous as ever and to SA related film "Slumdog Millionaire' for scooping so many awards in 3 months. And to the Soweto Gospel choir for their great performance.
I had the chance to see the Slumdog Millionaire it last week Thursday and I must say its a must see.

Khanyi Dhlomo to wed for the 2nd time...

The gorgeous magazine editor of Destiny, Khanyi Dhlomo who also happens to be the sister to Sizwe Dhlomo, is to wed her Nigerian-American beau in December. Knowing this for about a month know, I was quiet amazed when I saw it in the paper this weekend. READ this from Sunday World : It could be second time lucky for former model, magazine editor and now media mogul Khanyi Dhlomo, who is set to tie the knot with her dream man. Khanyi will walk down the aisle later this year with her hunk, Nigerian-American businessman Chinezi Chijioke. The lovebirds met at Harvard University and have been dating for over two years. Khanyi earned an MBA at Harvard Business School and last year launched her new magazine Destiny – a high-end businesswomen’s publication. THE NAKED BATTLE AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!

The NAKED ISSUE of Marie Claire always causes a stir in the country and this year's issue has proven no different. It has been criticised and bashed for being a bad thing, but I say they are doing the right thing. If it means that people have to take off their clothes to tell people to stop abuse so be it.  Besides its done rather tastefullly and classy, nothing raunchy and has Learnado Da Vinci potraitic presence in it. Last years issue saw Gina Athens on the cover, inside it featured the four voluptuos singing DIVAS, poet Ntsiki Mazwai and designer of Loxion Culture Sechaba, it was all there.
