IT'S been a day since the country learned about
the death of musician and gay activist Koyo Bala and claws have come out
between his friends.
Socialite and make-up artist Iko Mash, has slammed designer and stylist Iphraem Molingoana calling him “pathetic and disgusting”.
“I am so saddened by how former friend is
riding on Koyo's death to elevate himself and his own brand and benefit as the
voice of reason in his life.
“My brother you
kicked him out of your space when he needed you the most, you avoided him and
refused to take any of his calls when he needed you the most. Stop embarrassing
yourself and grow up,” wrote Mash.
Bala passed away on Monday morning after a three year battle with cancer. And in a report with Sowetan Molingoana told of a tale of his last interaction with
the deceased star at the airport in Johannesburg.
According to the report on
returning from the MetroFM Awards where Molingoana claimed Bala "looked frail
and was put on a wheelchair to board the plane".
“At the airport he held my hand and said
ngiyakuthanda va and I said I love you too,” said Molingoana in the Sowetan
report.
But all this has left Mash with a bitter taste
in his mouth where he also added that Molingoana, was “feeding the media pathetic lies and insinuations”.
“You dont know
anything about what led to Koyo's death and you are not even making an effort
to find out from us koyo's friends what eventually happened.Stop feeding the media your pathethic lies and
insinuations,” wrote Mash.
