Gorgeous actress, TV presenter, model and girl-about-town Amanda du-Pont has a stylish new gig as the co-presenter on BET A-List . Amanda will be co-hosting the weekly entertainment and lifestyle magazine show with Ayanda Thabethe for the next three months, shooting segments with A-listers and celebrities from across the continent.  She steps into the stilettos of pregnant Nandi Madida who taped her last episode last week before heading off on maternity leave.  Ayanda and Amanda will keep audiences captivated weekly with the latest trends from around the African continent and abroad, unpacking everything from fashion, to music, movies and more, covering the hottest red carpet events and interviewing A-Listers from home and abroad. Being at a concert is my big must do because I love watching people scream. But the tables were flipped this time on me, as people probably saw me screaming at John Legend, but that was the freakiest thing ever to happen to me. Here goes nothing. Straight after Knocks You Dow n hit singer Keri Hilson performed, I stood around with friends Monde Mkhizwana and Itumeleng Motuba waiting for John Legend to come on stage. When I thought it was taking too long, I thought why not get a drink during the interval so I can sing louder with a thrist-free voice. Then the lights went out, meaning someone was coming, and it could only be John Legend. But I didnt turn back I just kept walking out, some guy wearing a brown leather jacket, white shirt and black tie, just touches me on my hand and says “excuse me Miss”.
