Zola is being sued Ghetto Ruff boss Lance!
It's sad to see so many artist flocking back and forth to the same recording labels that seem to be messing up their careers. I remember seeing the clip on some show where comedians Kagiso Lediga and Desmond Dube commenting on some record label bosses saying "What XXX giveth XXX shall taketh away," and man did a find some truth in that.
And this is exactly what is happening in this case... as this is not the first time this recording boss in the same tangle with one of his artists... Remember the case of rapper Tuks?

Kwaito icon Zola is going to pay heavily for his verbal diarrhoea – if one of the recipients of his s***ty verbiage has his way.
His former boss Lance Stehr of Ghetto Ruff has filed a R30m lawsuit against Zola for the disparaging utterances he made in the media about him and his company.
According to a summons in possession of Sunday World, Stehr is demanding this compensation, with interest from the date of summons, for damages and injury he and his company Ghetto Ruff sustained .
He is also demanding that Zola pay the cost of the suit.
The subpoena reads in part: “The defendant Bonginkosi Dlamini, generally known as Zola – a professional artist, singer, actor and poet, residing in Mellville, Johannesburg, alternatively caused to be published, an article in the ‘Sunday World’ (Newspaper) titled ‘Gimme my millions’.
“In that article he said he owns 20% shareholding in Ghetto Ruff and that Stehr kept valuable information from him, crooked him out of a lot of money, allegedly millions of rands, and that he does not wish any artist to allegedly go through which the defendant has gone through (sic).”
Stehr also complains that Zola said he and/or his company “are criminal and that they belong in jail”.
He bemoans that statements contained are “wrongful”, “derogatory and defamatory”, “false”, “made with the intention to defame and to injure him” and made with an intention to assault and injure his phama and dignitas.
Stehr says Zola made the additional barb that he and/or his company are “crooks and dishonest”, “committed illegal activities”, “acted unethically”, “inappropriately and unacceptably”.
The writ also states that Stehr and his company’s reputation have been damaged and that they have suffered damages.
Stehr refused to comment, citing the old sub judice excuse.
Zola couldn’t be reached for comment at the time of going to press.
