Miss SA Tatum Keshwar comes 7th at Miss Universe
MISS South Africa, Tatum Keshwar, is one of the 10 most beautiful women in the universe.
KwaZulu-Natal- born Keshwar took seventh spot at the Miss Universe competition in Nassau, the Bahamas, at the weekend.
She wrote on her Facebook page yesterday: “Did it for Africa last night at the Miss Universe pageant in the Bahamas! Hope I made you proud SA. Gave it my all and had a wonderful experience. Thank you for your love and support. It just wouldn’t be the same without it! Love you lots.”
Keshwar and 84 other national beauties spent most of this month in the Bahamas before competing for the title on Sunday night.
Venezuela’s Stefania Fernandez received the crown.
Ada de la Cruz, from the Dominican Republic, was her first princess and Kosovo’s Marigona Dragusha the second princess.
Keshwar, placed seventh in the evening gown section, wore a dress by Charlene Sauerman.
Sue Klerck, Sun International’s public relations and marketing manager, told The Times: “We are thrilled that Tatum made it to the top 10 out of 84 gorgeous girls. It’s absolutely fabulous and we are proud of her.” -The Times
