SA rockband Parlotones are making a Giant Mistake
ROCK band The Parlotones have become the South Africa’s newest — and most unlikely — winemakers.
The three-times South African Music Awards nominees have been hard at work in the cellars of Bosman Wine Estate in Wellington, outside Cape Town, where they have been blending their own wine out of Pinotage, Shiraz and other varietals.
Lead singer Kahn Morbee told The Times that this was just another “cool” way of venturing into business.
“We’ve always wanted to know how to make wine and now, with the help of wine experts at the farm, we are making our own,” he said.
“We’ve been mixing a whole lot of flavours to find what we really like . We will call it a Giant Mistake after a song in our latest album, A World Next Door To Yours.”
In just a couple of months the wine will be available in all Woolies stores in SA. So you can get a taste of the Giant Mistake too...
