Graeme is out and then there were two!



Bid a fond farewell to Graeme Watkins who recieved the fewest votes and just missed the Final of Idols Season V. That means Sasha-Lee Davids and Jason Hartman will go head to head on Sunday, 3 May.
t was a tight competition right up to the end, with two of the nation’s top radio stations predicting that Sasha-Lee would go home and three of them calling it for Graeme. The Idols judges were also split down the line: Dave and Mara thought would be the two guys in the Final. Gareth didn’t want to hazard a guess and only Randall called it correctly. 

Jason is the first Idols contestant ever from KwaZulu Natal to make it to the Final. 

This final week is arguably the most important voting period of the whole competition, since it will determine who will be South Africa’s next Idol. The voting lines are open already and they will remain open all week until 18h30 on Sunday, 3 May.

Joost tape is out for all to see...

THE Joost van der Westhuizen sex tape saga descended into a tabloid frenzy last month as Heat magazine screened a grainy video purporting to show the former Springbok captain in compromising positions.  The 29-minute tape, which was shown to journalists, showed a man who bore some resemblance to Van der Westhuizen frolicking with what heat magazine described as a “vindictive young lady” wearing two G-strings “in the stripper tradition”.  It claimed that the video proved conclusively that Van der Westhuizen had cheated on his wife, singer Amore Vittone. But the magazine did not identify the woman and provided little corroborating evidence in the accompanying story. Twelve print, radio and television journalists watched the man, whom Van der Westhuizen strongly denies is him, arousing himself, running his hands over the woman’s body, and using a sex toy. Khanyi Dhlomo to wed for the 2nd time...

The gorgeous magazine editor of Destiny, Khanyi Dhlomo who also happens to be the sister to Sizwe Dhlomo, is to wed her Nigerian-American beau in December. Knowing this for about a month know, I was quiet amazed when I saw it in the paper this weekend.
