In Durban with Kwani Experience
On one weekend I decided to explore the life of a 6-piece band called Kwani Experience when went on a road trip to perform in Durban.
What a ride I must say as I was driving with three of its members, drummer Monde "Ndeski" Mkhizwana, pianist Mahlatse "Ribatone" Riba and percussionist and vocalist bafan "Spike" Nhlapho, who were all such fun to travel with. The rest of the band were in a second car that had rapper Kwelagobe PO Sekele, bass player Frank Ngongwa and lead vocalist Nkoto Malebye along with their manager Dj Bob.
On our leave for the coast at 5am, we made it in time for the hot sun at the beach at noon, just to take a quick dip in the warm ocean and in no time it was time for them to make their way to the venue they were playing called Zulu Jazz Lounge.
The hours flew on by and they had to perform, attracting many theatre goers as the venue was right next door to The Playhouse theatre.

I had fun I dont know about the guys, Durbanites brought their friends and I met more people including my old high school and varsity friends.
