ANELE GOES TO PRIME TIME

AFTER clinching a South African Film and Television Award as Best Talkshow Host last weekend, it’s clear SABC3 is waking up to Anele Mdoda’s talkshow’s popularity as they push it to prime time slot.

The show, Real Talk with Anele which premiered on 21st July 2016, is a daytime variety talk show that sees 32-year-old Mdoda featuring social commentary on current, cultural and lifestyle topics, as well as entertaining interviews with some of SA and international celebs, entertainers and sporting figures including Minnie Dlamini, Robert Marawa, Fikile Mbalula and Trevor Noah.


Broadcast from Monday to Friday 16:00 – 17:00 on SABC 3, the show’s producers Cheeky Media’s Yusuf Stevens last week confirmed that the show will be moved to 5pm slot starting from April 3, meaning Mdoda’s show will swap with Afternoon Express which will occupy the 4pm slot from next month. 
And Real Talk with Anele will also have repeats from 9am all starting on April 3.

Joost tape is out for all to see...

THE Joost van der Westhuizen sex tape saga descended into a tabloid frenzy last month as Heat magazine screened a grainy video purporting to show the former Springbok captain in compromising positions.  The 29-minute tape, which was shown to journalists, showed a man who bore some resemblance to Van der Westhuizen frolicking with what heat magazine described as a “vindictive young lady” wearing two G-strings “in the stripper tradition”.  It claimed that the video proved conclusively that Van der Westhuizen had cheated on his wife, singer Amore Vittone. But the magazine did not identify the woman and provided little corroborating evidence in the accompanying story. Twelve print, radio and television journalists watched the man, whom Van der Westhuizen strongly denies is him, arousing himself, running his hands over the woman’s body, and using a sex toy. Khanyi Dhlomo to wed for the 2nd time...

The gorgeous magazine editor of Destiny, Khanyi Dhlomo who also happens to be the sister to Sizwe Dhlomo, is to wed her Nigerian-American beau in December.
