E! Entertainment Television (DStv Channel 124) has announced
that E! VIP, the locally produced celebrity profile series, is
returning to the channel on Monday, 24th October at 7PM CAT
(DStv Channel 124).
Seven new episodes for the second season of the series will showcase more of Africa’s
talent as the biggest names in the entertainment industry like rapper Cassper Nyovest who will show off his digs and demonstrates
the “Fill up the Dome” phenomenon for which he’s famous.
This comes after the show was launched earlier this year in June, giving audiences an in-depth tour of the lives of their favourite African stars such as Tiwa Savage, Diamond Platnumz, Rita Dominic, Mafikizolo and D’Banj.

Each thirty-minute episode profiles a different local talent through both exclusive and archived footage, to give viewers a front row seat to their performances, public appearances, behind-the-scenes antics, homes and personal lives. And this time the audience will also see Ghanaian on-screen beauty Joselyn
Dumas, Mozambique’s musical sensation Lizha James, and South African
songstress Lira in action. While it will also give the scoop on how ProVerb’s been taking over the music scene and television world.
Meet
the members of Kenyan afro-pop sensation Sauti Sol, and listen
as songwriter-slash-producer Zonke speaks of her experiences writing for a
range of artists from Mafikizolo to Black Coffee and opens up about motherhood.
