BLASKISH TEAM ANTHONY ANDERSON AND TRACEE ELLIS ROSS TO HOST BET AWARDS

BET is amping up the volume at the BET Awards 2016 after it was revealed that Usher, Future and Bryson Tiller will join the ultra-talented line-up of performers at the 16th annual awards show on Sunday 26 June 2016.   

Hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, the “BET Awards” will also include performances by previously announced artists, Alicia Keys and Maxwell.

The BET Awards premieres across Africa on BET (DStv channel 129) on Tuesday 28 June at 19:00 CAT.
Sheila E., The Roots, D’Angelo and Janelle Monae are also slated as the first artists to be part of the special celebration paying homage to the creative genius of Prince.

Guest presenters for the highly-anticipated televised event include DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Tinashe, Fantasia, Regina Hall, BET’s “Music Moguls” (Damon Dash, Birdman, Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dog), Aja Naomi King, Nate Parker, Terrence J, Morris Chestnut, J.B. Smoove, Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, the cast of BET's “New Edition” biopic (Bryshere Y. Gray, Elijah Kelley, Luke James, Algee Smith, Keith Powers and Woody McClain) and BET’s “F in Fabulous” cast (Kamie Crawford, Eny Oh, Stephon Mendoza and Savannah Lynx).

The BET Awards will take place alongside the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles from 23-26 June 2016.

Joost tape is out for all to see...

THE Joost van der Westhuizen sex tape saga descended into a tabloid frenzy last month as Heat magazine screened a grainy video purporting to show the former Springbok captain in compromising positions.  The 29-minute tape, which was shown to journalists, showed a man who bore some resemblance to Van der Westhuizen frolicking with what heat magazine described as a “vindictive young lady” wearing two G-strings “in the stripper tradition”.  It claimed that the video proved conclusively that Van der Westhuizen had cheated on his wife, singer Amore Vittone. But the magazine did not identify the woman and provided little corroborating evidence in the accompanying story. Twelve print, radio and television journalists watched the man, whom Van der Westhuizen strongly denies is him, arousing himself, running his hands over the woman’s body, and using a sex toy. Khanyi Dhlomo to wed for the 2nd time...

The gorgeous magazine editor of Destiny, Khanyi Dhlomo who also happens to be the sister to Sizwe Dhlomo, is to wed her Nigerian-American beau in December. Knowing this for about a month know, I was quiet amazed when I saw it in the paper this weekend.
