The U.K.’s version of the Grammys boasted big-name performances from Adele, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, and yes, even Rihanna, who cancelled her Grammy set due to bronchitis.
The singer took to stage at O2 Arena to perform a song off ANTI for the first time since the platinum album’s release, and even brought out Drake, who’s been spotted around town.
Clad in white Balmain garment she kicked off her set with her ANTI album opener Consideration with special guest SZA, who was silhouetted and spotlighted in the background while singing her hypnotic, catchy chorus. She then segued into Work while bathed in pink light beams before being joined by Drake, matching in white. They put their chemistry on display, recreating sexy scenes from the music video, twerking and all.

Another highlight for the night was Justin Bieber who was decked out in a Saint Laurent bomber and crispy white slip-ons. The Canadian crooner lit up the awards’ stage with a small campfire behind him and guitarist James Bay beside hi. They kicked things off with an emotional performance of his break-up anthem Love Yourself. Soon after, JB danced his way to a different part of the stage where larger flames were sparked. Backed by dancers and a moonlight backdrop, the singer went into a kinetic rendition of Sorry.

After Lady Gaga’s Grammy tribute’s to the legendary singer David Bowie who passed away earlier this year, one would think no one would top that but New Zealand star Lorde did just that. Backed by Bowie’s longtime band, she performed performed Life on Mars in an homage to the Blackstar singer. When she was finished, a photo of Bowie appeared on screens around the arena.

BUT it was singer Adele who reigned supreme on the night, taking home four wins throughout the night and then closing out the show with a stunning performance of When We Were Young. She took to stage in a shimmering red and gold long sleeved dress - totally making up for her Grammy glitch performance where a microphone had tampered with piano strings after falling. - report by RAP UP
