NEW SHOW FOR BONANG MATHEBA

IS QUEEN B getting a new show in Cape Town?
That is the big question that is circulating on social media - with many are speculating that television personality Bonang Matheba is shooting a new show alongside Top Billing presenter Jeannie De Gouveia and Catch A Fire actress Bonnie Mbuli.

Matheba, who’s currently residing in Cape Town has been broadcasting her radio show from the SABC studios in Sea Point and on Wednesday fuelled the rumour mill by posting images of herself with De Gouveia and Mbuli captioned “set life”.

Yesterday entertainment magazine Drum published an article claiming the trio are to have a show.
“The show we can confirm will not be like 3Talk but instead will be almost similar to the lifestyle programme Top Billing. It will air every week day in the same time slot as previously occupied by 3Talk. The show has been filming in Cape Town which is why Bonang announced her recent move to Cape Town,” wrote Drum.

But SABC television spokesperson Zandile Nkonyeni dismissed the rumours claiming “nothing has been finalised to replace 3Talk”.
“We can’t confirm that there is a new show yet as we are currently undergoing an internal process in finalising contracts.  Once that is finalised, there will be announcement made,” said Nkonyeni.
This comes after 3Talk show host Noleen Maholwana-Sangqu bowed out from the show after 12 years on air, with the last episode having aired on Monday. For the next two weeks, SABC3 will be broadcasting the “Best of Noleen” while awaiting a possible new show to be announced.

Joost tape is out for all to see...

THE Joost van der Westhuizen sex tape saga descended into a tabloid frenzy last month as Heat magazine screened a grainy video purporting to show the former Springbok captain in compromising positions.  The 29-minute tape, which was shown to journalists, showed a man who bore some resemblance to Van der Westhuizen frolicking with what heat magazine described as a “vindictive young lady” wearing two G-strings “in the stripper tradition”.  It claimed that the video proved conclusively that Van der Westhuizen had cheated on his wife, singer Amore Vittone. But the magazine did not identify the woman and provided little corroborating evidence in the accompanying story. Twelve print, radio and television journalists watched the man, whom Van der Westhuizen strongly denies is him, arousing himself, running his hands over the woman’s body, and using a sex toy.
