Rap mogul  Jay Z along with some of the biggest artists in music made waves on Monday with the announcement of TIDAL, the first-ever artist owned streaming service. "We come to you with one voice in unity," artist Alicia Keys said during the live event. "The first ever artist owned global music and entertainment platform!" The event brought together likes of Kanye West, Daft Punk, Rihanna, Coldplay and Madonna along with a ton of hype. For example, a clock on the service's site was counting down to the live streamed event, and the rapper's entertainment company, Roc Nation, tweeted Saturday about a  "special announcement."   It also came with many of the same artists turning their Twitter avatars blue to bring attention to Jay Z's streaming service. It’s that time of the year again at 5FM; April brings with it a few tweaks to the weekday line-up and bigger changes to the weekend. 5FM will be shaking things up just a little with regards to the presenters and producers. There are also some great new programming changes and innovative radio additions.   We’re most excited about our programming additions. Last year we set a trend by kicking off breakfast  at 5am  and this year we’re trying something new again.  We’re adding on a new talk element similar to the popular Ted Talks which morning presenter  Nick Hamman  will play host to. A radiant Liesl Laurie has been crowned Miss South Africa 2015 at a glittering ceremony held at the Sun City Superbowl, presented by Sun International in collaboration with Cell C. Runners-up are Refilwe Mthimunye from Bronkhorstspruit (1st Princess) and Ntsiki Mkhize from Kliprivier, Midvaal (2nd Princess). Big Concerts announced that Kenny Rogers will be returning to South Africa for the final time, performing his Farewell South Africa Tour in Johannesburg on 15th and  16th June 2015  at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City and in Cape Town  on 18th June  at the Grand Arena, GrandWest. Kenny will also be supported by the country legends “Big Daddy” Lance James, “Queen of Country” Barbara Ray, “Midnight Cowboy” Clive Bruce and  “The Killer” Tommy Dell. According to Tshepang, the accused Sindisiwe Precious Manqele (25) deliberately wounded herself after stabbing the 38-year-old hip hop star  in the heart  to death  in his Alexandra home in the early hours of Monday .  Speaking to  Sowetan , Tshepang relayed the feelings of the Habedi family by stating that Manqele was being dishonest. "I heard about the wounds, she is lying. She stabbed herself in front of the police and they know what happened," said Habedi.
