PICTURE: SUPPLIED Marie Claire’ s popular Naked issue, in aid of Blow the Whistle (BTW) and supported by 1st For Women Insurance is on sale now. Featuring 35 local celebrities in the nude, the issue aims to raise awareness of Blow the Whistle’s support of women that are victims of rape and abuse. THE NAKED BATTLE AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!

The NAKED ISSUE of Marie Claire always causes a stir in the country and this year's issue has proven no different. It has been criticised and bashed for being a bad thing, but I say they are doing the right thing. If it means that people have to take off their clothes to tell people to stop abuse so be it.  Besides its done rather tastefullly and classy, nothing raunchy and has Learnado Da Vinci potraitic presence in it. Last years issue saw Gina Athens on the cover, inside it featured the four voluptuos singing DIVAS, poet Ntsiki Mazwai and designer of Loxion Culture Sechaba, it was all there. This year is different as it features Minki Visser (nee Van Der Westhizen) as the cover girl, hot soccer player Ryan Botha, beautiful MetroFM DJ, actor Clint Brink and his ex fiance actres Genevieve (Grace from Generations) and the "Smarter than a 5th Grader" presenter Soli Philander.  They bared it all for the name of "Celeb Couples against Domestic Violence".
