Russian blonde Kseniya Sukhinova was crowned the new Miss World, with second runner up was Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Gabrielle Walcott, while the first runner up was Miss India, Parvathy Omankuttan.

And yah Miss World Tansey Coetzee made it to the Top5, but her answer to the question: What would you do for your country if you won the title of Miss World?

Was by far the "cleverrest" thing I have ever heard in pegeant lifetime. (And yes I am being sarcastic).

Her answer being something like this: "With beauty and the brains you can imagine what I would be able to do!"

That left me gasping for air the minute I heard about it.

Tans, if you have ever watched Miss World be it on TV or movies, before you would know that the answer is always: "I will work with children, charities of the world and promote world peace."

But no, she had to be the smart one to say such, I mean an answer like that left me wondering what she meant.

Did she mean she would use her beauty to get her things?

Or that her supposed brains and definate beauty will score her some moola?

Apart from that little faux pas that could have possibly costs Miss "Brains and beauty" the crown, I have to holla at all the organisers for a great job.

And big ups to all 112 slender entrants, the 32 South African couture designs for the making such stunning 580 dresses in under 3months and to the 20 crafters, business is booming keep it rolling.

And its good to tell you all that: SA will be hosting Miss World again next year. YEPPIE!
